Veramar Aparthotel

Short walk to the beach front. Quiet road opposite a local bakery and other shops. Nice pool with plenty of sunbeds although you did have to chase the sun in the afternoon. Staff all very friendly/helpful. Sky Bar a nice addition. Would be more pleasant on warmer evenings.

Easy access from motorway. Friendly welcome/entrance/ first impressions. Apartment spacious, everything you need. Swimming pool area well kept and enough space. Pool bar area with plenty seating. Breakfast limited range but catered to all needs. Again clean and well looked after. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely return here if in the area in the future. Very good value for the money.

It looked recently refurbished so was very nice and had all the facilities we needed. Felt like staying in a nice hotel but with the added bonus of self catering too which was great. Staff were really friendly and helpful and it's in walkable distance to the beach, shops and train station.

We picked veramar mainly because of the location as we know fuengi well and know parking is difficult veramar is a few minutes walk away from the free car park next to the mosque . They do also have parking onsite at a charge of €15 a day if you find that more convenient. A few minutes walk to the old part of town and also the beach makes this a great stay in fuengirola. Pool area is nice with a bar , you'll have to get up early to get a sunbed though . The sky bar was a nice bonus . The rooms are simple, clean and convenient with a small kitchen with everything you need if you did want to cook.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Firstly the staff on reception were lovely and always there if needed. Cleaners were fab and the rooms were generous size with a little kitchen if u wanted to cook. Aircon was great and comfortable beds... Only downfall for me in the room was there wasn't a bedside table which was unusual. Pool= well it was lovely very clean and tidy and a nice little bar.. But be warned there are very selfish people who think it's OK to put towels down early bugger off out for the day and come back to hotel later and have the beds... Not good... So after the 4 th day of not getting one I thought stuff it I'll do the same... Close to bus station, supermarket, train station and the marina.. Beach about 400m Also little bakers across the road is lovely. So all in all a great quiet little hotel and would deffinatly go back Thanks for a great stay
